Sometimes dieting can be a complicated thing. On a low carb diet, trying to seperate what's important from what's not important can be a confusing task. We explain things so that everyone can have a clear understanding of what a low carb diet is really about.

Basically this diet is going to change the way your body burns fuel as an energy source. Currently, your body uses the following in order:

On low fat diets (which are high in carbohydrates), you eat very little fat - so you're probably not going to gain any weight - but you're not burning fat until you've used up all your carbs.
